Job Summary


This role is an integral part of the HRIS team, responsible for configuring and managing timekeeping system Kronos Workforce Central. The Senior BSA will provide system guidance, be hands on, and respond to process requests and work independently but closely with the functional HR partners. Advanced analytical skills are a must. The candidate will have direct experience in configuration of pay rules, work rules, OT rules and accrual configuration in the Kronos system. This role will also provide production support to other SaaS systems used in the HR department.


Responsibilities


Act as liaison between technical IT staff and HR subject matter experts to coordinate technical solutions with business processes.


Develop, modify and implement business processes within multiple applications. Responsible for understanding business requirements, execute needs analysis, requirements definition, and design for system implementations.


Work closely with business partners to understand business processes, goals and gaps. Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements.


Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts and end-user representatives. Work with users and technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues.


Provides day to day operational support of the Kronos WFC application in coordination with other support teams such as Payroll and Absence Management.


Provides support for upgrades/implementations or with applications which interface with the Kronos Application. Assists with assessment and implementation of new features, versions, and application tools associated with the applications.


Creates test scripts and performs unit and integrated testing.


May perform additional duties of similar complexity within the organization, as required or assigned.


Develop documentation and training videos as needed to support operations use of Kronos and process improvements


Minimum Qualifications


Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency and 4-6 years of experience in configuring and maintaining time keeping systems like Kronos, UltiPro, ADP , Workday, PeopleSoft.


Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.


Must be able to work in stressful environments and take appropriate action.


Must be a skilled communicator, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability. Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all organization levels as well as outside vendors.


Strong organizational and analytical skills. Attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, self-manage, show initiative and be proactive. Have a “Can Do” attitude.


Preferences


Prior experience in system configuration and maintenance of Kronos Workforce Central.
